EUNIS Research Workshop 2010

EUNIS is organizing a Workshop about Research Information Systems for Higher Education Institutions in Europe.
The Workshop will be held in Bologna, Italy, on March 19th 2010 and hosted by CINECA, an Italian University Consortium.
Topic

The Workshop aims at highlighting and discussing:
1. trends and insight about the development of Research Information Systems for Higher Education Institutions in Europe.
2. collaboration opportunities to improve research information availability and sharing, towards the development of an European Research Area.
Speakers

Germany, Netherlands, Norway, Spain, UK and Italy. Speakers are national experts involved in the development of Research Information Systems and will provide a wide overview about what's going on in different European countries.

In the afternoon, the discussion will be focused on interoperability of Research data in Europe. A round table referring to future standards will end the meeting.
